Thankful today

After competing for measuring cups and dishes and oven space, my family members and I successfully have made the twice-baked potatoes, broccoli casserole, and more. I am thankful for time at home.

Also I am thankful for Westminster and the families I have met during the past year and a half. Thank you for allowing me the privilege to serve you and your children. I am thankful for fellow teachers and staff members and the opportunity to spend Monday afternoon cooking alongside them. Approximately 20 of us diligently followed directions from the official Westminster chefs, helping cook the turkey and sweet potato pie and everything in between. On Tuesday, everyone employed by Westminster gathered in Malone Dining Hall to enjoy the annual Thanksgiving feast. It is truly a special experience to be together, listening to colleagues stand and share stories about for what and whom they are thankful. There is so much for which to be thankful!
