Ms. Strother

Hello Westminster families! I am thrilled to be the school counselor in Love Hall. As a Westminster graduate, I know what a special place our school is for students and their families. My #1 priority as a school counselor is to help every child feel safe, supported, and loved at school.

Westminster Wildcats — and baked goods — make the world a better place

After earning my B.A. in psychology from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN, I returned to Atlanta and worked as a PreK assistant at Trinity School while pursuing my M.Ed. in School Counseling at Georgia State University. In 2006, I graduated from GSU and began my seven years as a school counselor at Teasley Elementary in Smyrna. After being a Rhodes Lynxcat, GSU Panther, and Teasley Tiger, it’s wonderful to have returned to my Wildcat roots!

I serve as the school counselor for all students in the Lower School. Click here for information about school counseling in Love Hall.

Version 2

I talk with children about their fears… sharks included

I am a consultant for parents of all students. I would love to talk with you about your child! This year I’m in a new office, Room 57. It’s near the main office, the lunchroom, and the infirmary, so I’d love for you to stop by the next time you’re in Love Hall. Of course, you may contact me by phone or email anytime as well. I look forward to collaborating with you to help our Wildcats have a very successful school year!

Ms Strother new room

Please stop by my room and say hello when you’re in Love Hall! My door is always open… except for when I took this picture…

I don’t always go on field trips, but when I do… I put on a harness and conquer the rope swing.
